We're partnering with a respected HVAC company in the Asheville, NC area to find a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join their team. What You'll Do
- Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration issues efficiently and accurately
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to keep systems running smoothly
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications
- Ensure all work complies with local codes and safety regulations
- Communicate clearly with customers about diagnostics, repairs, and recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and time logs
- Keep service vehicle and equipment organized, stocked, and well-maintained
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- EPA certification (required); NATE certification a plus
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigeration
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and various weather conditions
