Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Mission Valley
Responsibilities Include:
- General HR Support
- Benefits Administration - Coordinate employee benefit enrollment, changes and terminations.
- Onboarding and Offboarding and handling new Employee paperwork.
- Assisting with HR events, fairs, wellness initiatives, and new hire onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, and other applicable local regulations.
- Support employee education by creating materials and delivering presentations.
- Assist in administering workers' compensation claims and maintain accurate documentation.
- File claims, coordinate treatment, and monitor the return-to-work process
- Responding to Employee questions
- Maintain accurate records in Client system.
Requirements Include:
- 1 years of experience in Human Resources
- Must be Spanish/English Speaking - Bilingual
- Knowledge of benefits administration and workers' compensation processes.
- Organized, detail-oriented, knowledgeable about California labor laws such as FMLA, CFRA, ADA, ACA etc.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Physical Requirements Include:
- Must be able to sit or stand - (6 hours/day).
- Must be able to periodically lift up to 20 lbs (e.g., boxes of benefit materials, files).
- Frequent use of a computer, phone, and general office equipment.
- Occasional walking across company location for meetings or employee outreach.
- Ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise level.
Compensation: $22.00
