Port Provisions at The Seastreak

Port Provisions is a brand new coffee shop located on the water inside of the floating barge at the Seastreak ferry terminal in Highlands, NJ. Port Provisions was built on exceptional hospitality, fresh coffee, great prices, and a true love for providing for our guests. We believe that with a fun team and exceptional service, we can make a regular morning commute the best part of someone's day.

We’re looking to add new baristas to our team who have a passion for coffee, move with purpose, and who are committed to putting out high quality specialty drinks that reflect themself. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a warm welcome
• Brew fresh coffee, espresso, cold brew, and specialty beverages
• Prepare food menu items according to recipe while following food safety guidelines
• Serve specialty brunch-style cocktails
• Maintain a clean, organized work space and shared service areas
• Monitor inventory and restock as needed
• Maintain an upbeat demeanor during high volume periods

Experience, Skills, and Requirements

• At least two years of prior barista experience in a café environment
• Proficient in coffee knowledge and kitchen practices
• Familiarity in coffee and café equipment
• Prioritizes cleaning and sanitation
• Ability to follow a recipe and maintain portion control
• Early morning, weekend, and holiday availability 
• Must meet legal requirements to serve alcohol per state law
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to work for extended time periods on floating vessel
