Location: West Midtown, Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Compensation: $38–$44 per hour

Our client, a growing and innovative technology company headquartered in West Midtown Atlanta, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys partnering with employees and leaders while working across a broad range of human resources functions. There is strong potential for this position to become permanent based on business needs and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on a variety of HR-related matters.
- Conduct regular employee check-ins to foster engagement, identify concerns, and support a positive employee experience.
- Partner with managers on employee relations issues, performance management, and coaching conversations.
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and orientation activities.
- Support benefits administration, leave management, and HR policy interpretation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives that improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments to support business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Strong employee relations experience with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
