We currently have a very exciting opportunity available with our client for a Skilled Trades Recruiter in Bethlehem, PA .

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from client acquisition through candidate placement
• Identify and develop new business relationships with skilled trades companies
• Present recruitment services to prospective clients and negotiate contracts
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for skilled trades positions
• Recruit for roles including Welders, Fabricators, Maintenance Mechanics, CNC Machinists, and similar positions
• Utilize multiple sourcing strategies including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
• Match qualified candidates with appropriate job opportunities
• Collaborate with clients to understand hiring needs, company culture, and role requirements
• Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the hiring process
• Manage multiple clients and job orders simultaneously
• Conduct market research and stay current on industry trends and labor market conditions
• Provide market insights and hiring recommendations to clients
• Identify and engage top talent through traditional and creative sourcing methods
• Participate in trade school events, mock interviews, job coaching sessions, and job fairs
• Build candidate and client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
• Write job descriptions and post job advertisements
• Negotiate and present employment offers
• Coordinate and initiate pre-employment processes
• Support employee relations activities
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.5–3 years of full desk recruiting experience
• Experience recruiting for skilled trades or manufacturing-related roles preferred
• Strong business development and client acquisition skills
• Proven ability to generate new business and maintain client relationships
• Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement
• Familiarity with skilled trades terminology and roles such as Welders, Fabricators, Maintenance Mechanics, and CNC Machinists
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients, candidates, and job orders simultaneously
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong time management and follow-up skills
• Ability to professionally and authentically interact with clients and candidates
• Experience using sourcing tools including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM software preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
• Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills
• Ability to uncover client needs and identify candidate potential beyond resume content
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset
• Ability to work fully onsite in Bethlehem, PA
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Local recruiting experience in the Lehigh Valley or surrounding areas preferred
• Stable work history with demonstrated career progression preferred
  
  

Pay Range

• Salary range for this position will be $ 51,000 - $ 60,000 . Compensation will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This rate is subject to change.
