Team Lead, Talent Acquisition

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Team Lead, Talent Acquisition to serve as a senior member of the Talent Acquisition organization, supporting corporate recruiting while providing day-to-day leadership, recruiting strategy, and process improvement across the team.
This is a player-coach role that sits between a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner and a traditional TA Manager. The successful candidate will remain hands-on with recruiting while taking on increased responsibility for team enablement, recruiting metrics, process optimization, talent strategy, and cross-functional initiatives.
The role will partner closely with business leaders, HR, and Talent Acquisition leadership to attract and hire high-quality talent while helping build scalable recruiting practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Corporate Recruiting
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for corporate, professional, technical, sales, operations, and leadership positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, define recruiting strategies, and establish realistic hiring expectations.
- Develop proactive talent pipelines for critical and recurring positions.
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS/CRM platforms, referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels to identify high-quality candidates.
- Provide hiring managers with market intelligence related to compensation, talent availability, competitive hiring activity, and candidate trends.
- Ensure a strong candidate experience from initial engagement through offer and onboarding.
Team Leadership & Enablement
- Serve as a subject-matter resource and informal leader for the Talent Acquisition team.
- Coach and mentor recruiters on sourcing, candidate engagement, interviewing, closing, and search strategy.
- Help onboard and train new Talent Acquisition team members.
- Develop recruiting playbooks, templates, interview guides, sourcing strategies, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, tools, and processes.
- Assist TA leadership with special projects and strategic recruiting initiatives.
Recruiting Metrics & Analytics
- Track and analyze key Talent Acquisition metrics, including:
- Time-to-fill
- Time-to-submit/interview
- Candidate pipeline activity
- Source effectiveness
- Interview-to-offer ratios
- Offer acceptance rates
- Quality of hire
- Recruiter productivity
- Identify trends and opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency and effectiveness.
- Help establish consistent reporting and performance visibility across the TA organization.
- Use data and analytics to influence recruiting strategy and hiring decisions.
Business Partnership & Strategic Initiatives
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and hiring managers.
- Participate in workforce planning and talent strategy discussions.
- Partner with HR and business leadership on organizational growth initiatives.
- Support employer branding, talent-market initiatives, career events, and other corporate recruiting programs.
- Stay current on labor-market trends, recruiting technology, compensation trends, and evolving talent acquisition practices.
Commercial / Sales Partnership
- Partner with internal sales or commercial leadership where recruiting expertise can support business initiatives.
- Provide talent-market intelligence that can help identify hiring trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
- Support recruiting-related presentations, internal initiatives, and strategic business development efforts where appropriate.
- Help position Talent Acquisition as a strategic business partner rather than simply a transactional recruiting function.
Qualifications
- 5 years of Talent Acquisition or recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated success managing full-cycle corporate recruiting.
- Experience recruiting across multiple functions and levels.
- Strong sourcing and candidate engagement capabilities.
- Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and business leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, or lead other recruiters.
- Strong understanding of recruiting metrics and performance analytics.
- Experience using an ATS and modern sourcing/recruiting technology.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on.
Preferred Experience
- Previous Senior Recruiter, Lead Recruiter, Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, or TA Manager experience.
- Experience in a corporate Talent Acquisition environment.
- Experience building recruiting processes, training programs, or enablement initiatives.
- Experience supporting sales, technical, corporate, or leadership recruiting.
- Strong data/analytics orientation.
- Experience with recruiting technology optimization or ATS implementation.
- Exposure to workforce planning or talent strategy.
Salary : $40 - $55
