Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Verifying that orders are accurately filled and complete by comparing items and quantities with properly completed documentation.
- Ensure shipments are properly packaged and identified with shipping information for final destination.
- Ensure goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments with the establishment; and preparing and keeping records of goods received.
- Report quality problems to applicable supervisor.
- Responsible to follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary.
- Any other tasks/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the Picking/Shipping department.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per the Sealing Devices Quality System.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months of previous related work experience

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8–12 hours per shift).
- Regularly required to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and products up to 25–50 pounds.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling, assembling, and operating machinery and tools.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and arms.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to hear machine sounds, alarms, and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment.
- Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, crouching, twisting and climbing to load/unload materials and maintain equipment.
- Must be able to work in an environment with noise, vibration, and varying temperatures, while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
