FAST PACED SHEET METAL SHOP LOOKING FOR RELIABLE CANDIDATES ONLY. POSITION IS 60% LIFTING/PICKING, 40% FORKLIFT. MUST HAVE STRONG WORK HISTORY AS WELL AS PREVIOUS FORKLIFT CERTIFICATION.
- Must have shipping experience
- Must have forklift experience
- Accurate with paperwork and computers
- Strong, Steady Reliable work history
1st Shift- M-F - 6am-2:30pm
Pay Rate base on experience and interview $19-$20/hr.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Order Picker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment within our warehouse environment. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for selecting products from inventory, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Utilize handheld scanners or other technology to track inventory and ensure correct order fulfillment.
- Maintain an organized work area to facilitate efficient picking and packing processes.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and handling products.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.
Requirements
- Previous fork lift certification
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work possible overtime
