We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a Global Asset Management companies Credit Operations IT team in NYC. The candidate will act as a key liaison between business and technology teams, translating operational needs into effective technology solutions.
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst within financial services (credit operations, hedge funds, or private equity preferred)
- Strong understanding of Credit Operations processes, including trade booking, portfolio setup, cash reconciliation, and month-end close
- Proven ability to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams
- Experience translating business needs into functional and technical requirements
- Expertise in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, workflows, and data models
- Strong data analysis skills with a focus on data quality, validation, and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting system enhancements and delivering scalable technology solutions
- Ability to communicate complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
