Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Controller, with a dotted line to the CFO. This role plays a critical part in managing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial records for multiple entities.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L and balance sheet).
• Perform entity consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet account reviews.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Review balance sheet accounts, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights.
• Partner with the Controller and CFO on financial analysis, reporting, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with general ledger management, consolidations, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
