Roessel Joy has partnered with a growing manufacturing company on a new Accounting Manager role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background owning the month-end-close, working hands-on within the GL, and supporting a large ERP implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including general ledger and supporting AP/AR teams.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support the audit with the third party auditors.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Support the ERP implementation from an accounting/finance perspective.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Qualifications
- 5 years of accounting experience.
- Bachelors in Accounting/Finance.
- Strong hands-on GL experience.
- Previous experience owning the month-end-close is nice to have.
- ERP implementation experience is nice to have.
- Manufacturing industry experience is nice to have.
Salary : $105,000 - $110,000
