Production Scheduling
- Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules to ensure efficient resource utilization and on-time delivery of customer orders.
- Adjust and optimize schedules in response to demand fluctuations, supply disruptions, or capacity constraints.
Cross-Department Coordination
- Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate schedule updates, priorities, and potential risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Process Monitoring & Efficiency
- Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze workflows and recommend improvements to increase throughput, reduce downtime, and enhance resource utilization.
Inventory & Materials Management
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to balance supply and demand.
- Partner with procurement to forecast material needs, minimize shortages, and reduce excess inventory.
On-Time Delivery & Resource Optimization
- Ensure products are delivered on schedule while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Optimize labor, equipment, and material usage to meet production goals.
Manufacturing Metrics & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on key manufacturing metrics (e.g., OEE, cycle time, yield, scrap, capacity utilization).
- Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement process improvements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of production control principles, capacity planning, and inventory management.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Ability to analyze production data and identify trends to improve performance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Hands-on experience managing metrics such as OEE, takt time, and throughput.
- Background in high-mix, low- to mid-volume production environments.
- Familiarity with advanced planning and scheduling tools.
