Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday
Work Location Status: Fully on-site for the first 30-90 days at the Edwardsville, IL Headquarters. After successful completion of probationary period, position may be eligible for hybrid work.
*Employees in hybrid or remote roles may be required to return on-site periodically for meetings, events, or other work-related needs as determined by their manager.
About the Role
The HR Generalist is responsible for performing and coordinating HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment, orientation, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and legal compliance.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with recruitment efforts by coordinating and conducting initial candidate screenings, posting job openings, and supporting interview scheduling for selected roles. Back up the Talent Acquisition Specialist as directed by the HR Manager.
- Administers and maintains Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) records for applicable employees, ensuring timely registration, renewals, and updates in compliance with the SAFE Act.
- Implements various human resource plans and procedures for all staff; assists in the development and execution of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintain the employee handbook.
- Manages and oversees the entire range of employee performance management evaluations, including annual, probationary, and ad hoc reviews, to ensure they are conducted consistently, accurately, and within the required timeframe.
- Actively participates in employee committees and assist and/or attend events as deemed appropriate. Take a leadership role with events and assist the Human Resources Manager.
- Utilizes HR data analytics to develop and maintain reports/dashboard that monitor key workforce metrics (e.g. turnover, engagement, and performance trends) and support strategic HR initiatives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years in a human resources role with a focus on generalist functions.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing a major HRIS platform (e.g. ADP, Workday, UKG) for data entry and reporting.
