The Media and Affidavits Clerk is responsible for the review, downloading, and data entry of support documentation throughout the legal process.
Job Responsibilities
- Review documents provided by Firm clients to determine if the document is needed for suit filing
- Redact documents as needed
- Rename and save documents to the appropriate file
- Review documentation to determine whether all documentation needed has been obtained from the client
- Follow up with clients until all required documentation is on file
- All other tasks as assigned by management
Required Skills and Experience
- At least one year of general office experience
- High volume data entry or document processing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail in a high volume fast paced environment
- Knowledge of legal terminology, documents and processes preferred
