Position Highlights
• Title: Field Application Engineer
• Full Time Direct Hire
• Remote, customer facing position
• Northeast territory with Boston, Massachusetts preferred; New Jersey, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania also workable
• Up to 50% travel
• Work closely with customers, sales teams, representatives, distributors, Product Management, and Engineering
Background Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering required; another engineering, physics, or science degree may be considered with appropriate electrical engineering experience
• 5-10 years of experience in component sales, applications engineering, or sales engineering preferred
• Strong knowledge of electronic component applications, specifications, technical drawings, and engineering analysis
• Detailed knowledge of customer design platforms and applications
• Strong technical presentation, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, prioritize activities, and travel frequently
• Semiconductor, power supply, or military/aerospace application experience is a plus
• M.S. in Electrical Engineering preferred
