SciPro is partnered with a midsized, oncology focused biotech in South San Francisco. They work in Cell and Gene Therapy. Specifically focused on NK-Cell technology for oncology indications.
This group is looking for a Research Associate II, Process Development to join their team on a 6-month contract. This person will join the PD team and focus on advancing new products and manufacturing NK-Cell Therapies. Specifically we're looking for lab experience, execution, cell tx background, and process development experience. Including a bit more detail below:
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Process Development for Cell Tx programs
- Perform experiments using leukopaks - supporting multiple operations (NK enrichment, activation, transduction, expansion)
- Execute transductions on NK cells with viral vectors and scale up existing process
- collaborate cross functionally with AD, on relevant lab work
- maintain accurate lab records
- support authoring of protocols, reports, and SOPs
- communicate results in team settings
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in Cell or microbiology
- 2 years of experience in process development
- experience with cell therapy process development
- experience designing and executing experiments with limited supervision
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
Logistics:
- 6-month contract
- 40 hours/week
- On-site 5 days/week in South San Francisco
Salary : $40 - $50
