Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Trust and Estate Paralegal for a well-established, full-service law firm client. This is a hybrid position based in either Hackensack, NJ or New York, NY, with a three-days-in-office, two-days-remote schedule.

- Manage all phases of estate and trust administration, including probate processes
- Prepare federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings
- Coordinate distribution of estate assets and trust funding
- Communicate regularly with clients, financial planners, accountants, and attorneys
- Draft and prepare legal documents using tools such as HotDocs and Microsoft Word
- Maintain organized case files and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- 5 years experience supporting trust and estate administration matters, including probate
- Strong knowledge of estate tax preparation and fiduciary accounting processes
- Proficiency with estate tax software (e.g., ONESOURCE, Fast Tax) and legal document tools
- Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Degree and/or paralegal certificate required; JD/paralegal candidates will also be considered
