- Draft press releases, op-eds, talking points, and media statements
- Respond to media inquiries and coordinate interviews and press opportunities
- Monitor breaking news and identify opportunities for timely engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, reporters, and media outlets
- Track media coverage and analyze engagement to measure communications impact
- Support digital communications, including social media and website updates
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in media relations, communications, or press-focused roles
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling messaging
- Proven experience drafting press materials including press releases, op-eds, and media responses
- Established relationships with journalists and media professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and respond to breaking news cycles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with tools such as Cision, WordPress, and social media platforms preferred
