Litigation Paralegal

Scion Staffing is leading the search for a Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant on behalf of a respected and established law firm in Encino, California. This is a direct-hire, on-site position.

This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with experience in both state and federal court litigation who enjoys working directly with attorneys and clients in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, proofread, and finalize legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, correspondence, agreements, and contracts.
• Prepare and electronically file documents in California state and federal courts.
• Maintain and organize electronic case files and litigation documents.
• Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel in a professional manner.
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
• Assist with case management, document production, and other litigation support tasks.
• Prepare attorney expense reports and provide additional administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience supporting attorneys.
• Experience with electronic filing in both California state and federal courts.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and legal document preparation.
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
