Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Legal Technology Trainer on behalf of a respected and nationally recognized professional services organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy training professional who enjoys bridging the gap between technology and end users in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This hybrid role is based in the Seattle area and offers the opportunity to play a key role in technology adoption, onboarding, and user support initiatives across the organization.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Legal Software Applications Trainer will lead the development and delivery of engaging technology training programs for professional and administrative staff. This individual will support organization-wide software adoption initiatives, assist with onboarding and continued education efforts, and provide hands-on troubleshooting support related to specialized business applications. The position works closely with internal technology leadership and cross-functional teams to improve user experience, efficiency, and overall technology utilization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, update, and maintain training materials, guides, tutorials, and documentation for business-critical software platforms
- Facilitate in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions for both new hires and existing employees
- Support adoption and education initiatives related to approved AI-powered tools and emerging technologies
- Troubleshoot software and application-related issues, providing end-user support and identifying root causes when needed
- Partner with department leaders and stakeholders to identify training opportunities and promote technology best practices
- Assist users with document formatting, templates, workflow tools, and software functionality questions
- Coordinate with external vendors and technology partners regarding support, upgrades, and training initiatives
- Provide feedback and recommendations to software providers to help improve application functionality and usability
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal technology training, software training, or technology consulting within a professional services environment
- Strong ability to learn, teach, and support a wide range of software applications and business technologies
- Demonstrated experience working with AI-enabled platforms and productivity tools
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
PREFERRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
- Experience with several of the following platforms and technologies is highly desired: Document management systems
- Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams
- PDF and document production tools
- Electronic signature platforms
- Video conferencing platforms
- Workflow and legal productivity applications
- AI-powered workplace technologies
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This position offers a competitive salary in the range of approximately $100,000–$120,000 DOE, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
