Innovative Driven is currently seeking an engaging, technically skilled, and experienced Legal Software Applications Trainer to join the collaborative team at one of our most well-respected law firm clients. Based in the Pacific Northwest, the firm is nationally recognized for its ability to manage complex matters and high-stakes cases!
This is a hybrid position, requiring onsite presence two days per week, as well as additional in office time for new hire training and other potential business needs.
The Legal Software Applications Trainer serves as the valued bridge between legal professionals and cutting-edge legal technology. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive technology training programs for attorneys and staff.
There will be an opportunity to learn specialized software applications directly with the firm's current Senior Applications Support Specialist prior to their planned retirement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create, maintain, and update training materials, user guides, and on-demand tutorials for legal applications.
- Continuously improve training based on feedback and results
- Conduct and facilitate in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions for new hires and ongoing development for our attorneys and staff.
- Train staff on approved AI-driven tools and resources.
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting assistance to users, identifying root causes and resolving application-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and practice groups to understand needs and promote best practices for using legal tools.
- Work closely with the IT Manager for approval and implementation of process improvements and protocols
- Assist legal assistants, paralegals and attorneys with documents, template and software application troubleshooting.
- Under the guidance from the IT Manager, engage with vendors for support and evaluate technology upgrades and training.
- Provide product feedback to legal software providers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in legal training, legal technology consulting from a law firm or alternative legal services provider
- Proficiency in learning and creating training programs.
- Understanding of server software applications and web technologies
- Demonstrated working knowledge of AI-powered tools and platforms.
