Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Finance Director for a respected and growing healthcare organization specializing in patient-centered specialty care services. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity located in Columbia, SC.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Finance Director will serve as a strategic and hands-on financial leader supporting the continued growth and operational excellence of a multi-entity healthcare organization. This role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, compliance, audits, and financial operations while partnering closely with executive leadership to drive organizational strategy and performance. The ideal candidate brings a collaborative leadership style, strong business acumen, and the ability to balance high-level strategy with day-to-day financial management in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and financial planning across multiple entities
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, board packages, and finance committee materials
- Oversee audits, tax compliance, internal controls, risk management, and financial policies to ensure organizational compliance and operational excellence
- Develop financial models, key performance metrics, and strategic analyses to support organizational growth and business decision-making
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership and department managers to support operational and financial objectives across the organization
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance development for finance team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong experience leading finance and accounting operations within a healthcare or multi-entity environment preferred
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, compliance, and internal controls
- Experience partnering with executive leadership, boards, auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
- Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills with a collaborative and service-oriented approach
