Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Compliance Manager for a rapidly growing, logistics organization. This is an onsite role based in Tampa, FL (no hybrid or remote schedule available).
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Compliance Manager will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of enterprise-wide compliance programs to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. This role partners cross-functionally to embed compliance into daily operations while supporting scalable growth. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, driving audit readiness, risk mitigation, and a culture of accountability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and oversee company-wide compliance programs aligned with regulatory and operational requirements
- Establish governance frameworks, standard operating procedures, and audit processes to ensure consistent compliance practices
- Conduct internal audits, identify risks, and lead corrective action planning across departments
- Serve as the primary liaison for external audits, regulatory inquiries, and compliance-related partnerships
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure policies, systems, and processes remain up to date
- Lead cross-functional collaboration and training initiatives to promote a culture of compliance and accountability
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory environments within a highly regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, audits, internal controls, and regulatory requirements (e.g., transportation, labor, or data privacy)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple departments
- Experience with compliance tools, reporting systems, and data analysis to track metrics and performance
- High level of integrity, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This position offers a competitive salary of $79,000–$100,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, optional HSA, 401(k) with Day One eligibility, supplemental health coverage options, and paid time off.
