This role exists to bring structure to our HR function. You will step into a high-impact environment to stabilize benefits and execute open enrollment, ensure compliance across key areas including ACA and claims, build structured processes that improve consistency and reduce risk, and create a foundation that supports continued growth.
This is not a maintenance role. This is a build-and-stabilize role for someone who knows how to create order, implement structure, and deliver results.

What You Will Own
Stabilize Benefits & Execute Open Enrollment
- Lead coordination and execution of benefits transition and open enrollment
- Ensure systems and documentation are aligned and accurate
- Establish a clear, repeatable process going forward
- Audit and improve compliance across key areas, including ACA
- Ensure documentation is complete, consistent, and defensible
- Identify gaps and implement corrective processes
- Establish consistent handling and tracking of claims
- Improve payroll audit processes and ensure compliance standards are followed
- Follow up directly with managers to resolve issues within defined workflows
- Develop structured workflows across core HR functions
- Create clear documentation and standardized procedures
- Improve visibility into open issues, deadlines, and risks
- Help define what should remain internal vs. supported externally
- Contribute to a long-term operating model for HR
- Ensure a clean transition of systems and processes
- You own structure, process, and follow-through
- You work closely with internal leadership, who owns manager accountability and employee-facing decisions
- You enforce process and ensure execution, escalating where needed
Qualifications
- 3–6 years in HR operations, compliance, or similar roles
- Experience with benefits administration and open enrollment
- Working knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
- Experience with payroll audits, claims, or employee relations processes
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Experience in multi-site or hourly workforce environments preferred
- Full-time, onsite role based in Tampa, FL
- Temporary (4–6 months) with potential for extension or permanent conversion based on business need
- W-2 classification with benefits eligibility based on company policy
