Summary
Line Workers are responsible for assembling products, monitoring the production process, and ensuring that products meet quality standards. They are able to document and record all observations made on the plant floor and tests and measures various products to verify the fulfillment of quality standard. They work in a fast-paced environment and are required to be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time.
Essential Functions
- Inspects and carries out various testing of products at defined intervals of the production line process.
- Tests and measures products to verify the fulfillment of quality standards and specifications.
- Documents/ records all observations and measurements.
- Properly identifies and segregates nonconforming products to be reworked and/or scrapped.
- Immediately communicate quality issues to the appropriate people.
- Strictly follows quality standards and meets production goals.
- Ability to interpret BOMs (Bill of Materials).
- Maintains and clean and organized work environment.
- Follows safety guidelines at all times.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- 0-2 years of QA/Inspector or related manufacturing experience.
- Must have high initiative and be self-motivated
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Excellent follow-up skills
- Must have excellent problem solving skills
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Has good mathematical abilities.
- Can read, write, and comprehend English.
