Summary
This role is responsible for controlling production capacities at all SCS manufacturing locations. This person coordinates, facilitates, and expedites the delivery of finished goods, prepares production schedules, and makes sure that the operation meets customer order needs and shipping deadlines. Strong math and organizational skills are critical for this role. This person must be a team player, professional, courteous to others, and be flexible and willing to put in the time and effort to achieve success.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for maintaining all Hydra software users
- Conduct quarterly and yearly inventory of finished goods and materials to ensure 100% accuracy
- Proactively prepare for future or unexpected customer order needs based on sales forecasts and past order history and instructing Production Planners on preparing production schedules accordingly
- Prepare production reports through Hydra for Director of Operations and Executive Management
- Actively communicate with and coordinate with Customer Service, Production , and other SCS locations to make sure the plant meets shipping deadlines
- Communicate the status of production to all applicable departments including, but not limited to Management, Sales, Customer Service and Shipping
- Work extensively with the SAP system to constantly account for inventory and constantly update production capacity
- Cover for Production Planners at other locations
- 30-40% travel to other plant locations required
- Other duties and responsibilities as required by Director of Operations

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience at fast-paced high-volume manufacturing facility
- Proficiency in SAP Required
- Manufacturing industry knowledge required
- Hydra Software preferred, but will train
- MS Office expertise, specifically Excel & Word – PowerPoint a plus
- Lotus Notes a plus
