SPECIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to provide leadership to staff.
Must be able to successfully complete Live Scan screening.
Ability to respond quickly, effectively, and with equanimity to member crises and life situations.
Will be expected to maintain a flexible schedule (which will not be traditional 9-5) and must be
available to provide services in the community/in-home service as designated by the people
who will be served within the Wraparound program.
Ability to communicate well verbally, articulate and implement wraparound services and
treatment models.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Basic computer skills and literacy are required to use the agency’s electronic health record. Staff
must be able to log on, type, use a mouse, and navigate through various screens or windows to
complete daily chart documentation and chart supervision requirements.
Work as a team with DMH, DCFS, Department of Probation, psychiatrists, and other interagency
and intra-agency staff to provide consistent services.
Functions as QMHP for Wraparound team clients; ensuring Treatment Plans (DMH) are clinically
relevant to the individual client as well as reviewed, completed, and signed in a timely manner
as specified by Los Angeles County’s Departments of Mental Health.
Reviews and countersigns Child and Family Specialists’ progress notes, as well as Initial and Tri-
Annual assessments and Treatment Plans. Also reviews Katie A verification forms for accuracy.
Attend monthly LIONS meetings.

Job Description - Children Intensive Services Program Manager
HR 2023
Assists in the responsibility of participating in quarterly Child and Family Team meetings for the
purposes of training and quality assurance. Also attends ISC meetings as needed.
Assists the Program Manager in coordinating the completion of the annual report and
preparation for site visits by DMH and DCFS.
Assists Program Manager as needed with incoming referrals / prescreening child /youth into
Wraparound program services and discharging clients as appropriate to Wraparound program
guidelines.
Participates in the Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Committees, ensuring that all client
cases are reviewed in a timely manner and that all documentation meets Los Angeles County
Department of Children and Family Services and Department of Mental Health standards.
Attends and participates in all pertinent SCHARP, DCFS, DMH, and Department of Probation
meetings.
Other Administrative duties assigned.
