Job Summary:
The CAD Technician Intern is a detail-oriented role to assist our design and engineering teams with creating and updating technical drawings and models. This internship provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, working with experienced professionals to develop real-world CAD skills while contributing to active projects.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist in creating and modifying 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate concepts into accurate technical models.

Review and update existing drawings to ensure they meet company and industry standards.

Organize and maintain drawing files, documentation, and revision history.

Support the engineering team in resolving design-related issues and incorporating feedback.

Learn about industry-specific design requirements.

Participate in design meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in drafting, CAD technology, engineering technology, or a related field.

Basic proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking 8-10 hours depending on the task.
