This is a full-time, on-site position located in Vista, CA, for a Lead Groomer. The Lead Groomer will oversee daily grooming operations, provide exceptional grooming services, and ensure the safety and well-being of each dog in care. Responsibilities include supervising grooming activities, grooming dogs to breed-specific or customer-requested styles, training and mentoring team members, maintaining sanitation standards, and engaging with pet parents to provide excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in dog grooming techniques, including bathing, drying, clipping, and styling
- Experience in managing and mentoring grooming staff, with strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of canine health, behavior, and safety practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with pet parents effectively
- Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and multitasking skills
- Experience with time management to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in dog grooming (certification is a plus) and familiarity with various dog breeds and styles
