A rapidly growing pet wellness company is seeking a Pet Wellness Operations Manager to lead one of our Northern Virginia locations.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong teams, and takes pride in delivering outstanding experiences for both pets and their owners.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team, driving performance, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for every pet that comes through our doors.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team
• Foster a positive, accountable, and supportive team culture
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development
• Set clear expectations and ensure strong team execution

Operations & Customer Experience

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and service excellence
• Ensure a safe, calm, and positive environment for all pets in our care
• Build strong relationships with pet owners and deliver exceptional service
• Address operational challenges quickly and proactively

Performance & Growth

• Drive overall location performance and team productivity
• Lead by example in customer engagement and team collaboration
• Support local community engagement and brand awareness
• Maintain a strong focus on results while supporting a positive workplace culture

This Is a Hands-On Leadership Role

This is a player-coach position, not a desk job.

Our managers are active, visible leaders who work alongside their teams throughout the day. The right candidate enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation while also guiding the team and driving results.

You will:

• Work closely with your team on the floor
• Step in where needed to support operations
• Lead by example in professionalism, service, and teamwork
• Balance daily execution with coaching and leadership responsibilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
