A rapidly growing pet wellness company is seeking a Pet Wellness Operations Manager to lead one of our Northern Virginia locations.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong teams, and takes pride in delivering outstanding experiences for both pets and their owners.
As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team, driving performance, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for every pet that comes through our doors.
What You’ll Do
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team
- Foster a positive, accountable, and supportive team culture
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development
- Set clear expectations and ensure strong team execution
Operations & Customer Experience
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and service excellence
- Ensure a safe, calm, and positive environment for all pets in our care
- Build strong relationships with pet owners and deliver exceptional service
- Address operational challenges quickly and proactively
Performance & Growth
- Drive overall location performance and team productivity
- Lead by example in customer engagement and team collaboration
- Support local community engagement and brand awareness
- Maintain a strong focus on results while supporting a positive workplace culture
This Is a Hands-On Leadership Role
This is a player-coach position, not a desk job.
Our managers are active, visible leaders who work alongside their teams throughout the day. The right candidate enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation while also guiding the team and driving results.
You will:
- Work closely with your team on the floor
- Step in where needed to support operations
- Lead by example in professionalism, service, and teamwork
- Balance daily execution with coaching and leadership responsibilities
