- Conduct structured user interviews, customer support analysis, and usage data reviews to generate validated product insights
- Work with engineering to prioritize backlog items using a rigorous, data-informed framework - not gut feel or loudest voice
- Define success metrics for features before they are built; measure outcomes after launch using Amplitude, Mixpanel, or internal analytics tools
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery: align engineering, design, QA, and operations stakeholders on scope, timeline, and launch criteria
- Plan and run A/B tests with appropriate statistical power; interpret results and make clear recommendations
- Communicate clearly upward with founders and outward with customers - written and verbal
- 0–3 years of product management experience, OR equivalent experience in software engineering, data analysis, business analysis, or consulting - with genuine PM ambition
- Data fluency: SQL preferred; product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Project management fundamentals: Jira or Linear, agile/scrum participation, ability to manage scope and timeline
- Strong written communication - your PRDs are clear, your Slack messages are precise, and your customer emails are warm
