This role involves owning analytical workstreams end-to-end and, at the manager level, leading a team of 3–4 analysts on client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead analytical workstreams on client projects: define the question, design the methodology, clean the data, run the analysis, and present the findings
- Write complex SQL and Python analytical code; build reliable reporting pipelines that junior analysts can maintain
- Design and oversee A/B tests and measurement frameworks for client programs across marketing, operations, and product
- Manage and develop a team of 2–4 junior and mid-level analysts: assign work, provide feedback, and invest in their technical growth
- Build and present findings to client executives and business stakeholders in structured, actionable recommendations
- Contribute to internal analytics methodology, team tooling, and hiring
- Identify expansion opportunities within client relationships based on analytical needs we have the capability to address
- 4–9 years of data analysis experience with clear evidence of ownership, not just execution
- Advanced SQL and Python: you can build complex analytical pipelines from scratch and optimize them
- Tableau or Power BI at a senior level: building complex, multi-dataset dashboards with custom calculations
- Statistical modeling: regression analysis, time-series, A/B testing at production scale
- Management experience preferred for the Analytics Manager track; strong IC candidates without management experience also considered
- Strong executive communication: you can present uncertainty honestly while still making a clear recommendation
- Bonus: machine learning exposure, dbt, cloud data warehouses, or management consulting background
