What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Floater (4 Days Full-Time 7-6) or (Mon-Fr- 8-5) position at SCA?
We are seeking a nurturing, Infant/Toddler Room Floater who demonstrates a genuine love for Jesus and a passion for caring for young children. The ideal candidate will bring warmth, professionalism, and experience providing exceptional care and guidance to our youngest learners. (** We can also discuss a role in either the infant or toddler room if you prefer to stay in one class rather than floating)
Responsibilities
- Exhibit and communicate the love of Jesus to students, parents, and coworkers.
- Support and implement curriculum and daily routines that foster spiritual, emotional, and developmental growth.
- Interact with children both physically and verbally throughout the day.
- Observe, respond to, and document children’s needs, activities, and developmental milestones.
- Build positive relationships with parents through daily communication and updates.
- Maintain an orderly, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Ensure compliance with all DSS and DHEC regulations.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and other school functions as required.
- Assist children with personal hygiene and classroom clean-up as needed.
- Maintain continuing education hours as required by DSS.
Pay: $30,000.00 - $33,000.00 per year
