Challenges You'll Tackle
- Own the build from print to delivery, meeting customer requirements throughout.
- Calculate missing or unspecified dimensions to complete the design.
- Lay out designs on various materials; set reference points and tooling holes with straightedges and precise measurement.
- Lead hands-on assembly of tooling components for Aerospace customers.
- Perform repairs and rework to return tools to service quickly.
- Create clear sketches/drawings for the fabrication department.
- Jump in on machines as needed—lathes, Bridgeports, and grinders.
- Tackle additional assigned tasks to keep schedules on track.
What Sets You Apart
- At least 5 years of Aerospace fixture-building experience.
- Comfort with geometric tolerances.
- Blueprint reading mastery.
- Catia V5 and Enovia familiarity (nice to have).
- Strong math plus clear written and verbal communication.
- Highly organized with excellent follow-up; deadline aware.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and AS91000 quality standards preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
