Step into the shop and lead precision from blueprint to build Imagine starting your shift by opening a new set of build prints for a complex aerospace assembly. You review customer requirements, calculate any missing dimensions, and lay out the design across steel, aluminum, and composites. With straightedges and precision measuring tools, you establish reference points and tooling holes. You coach your team through fitting and assembling components, jump on a manual lathe or Bridgeport mill when needed, sketch a quick concept for the fabrication group, and circle back to rework a tool that needs fine-tuning.
