Savills North America is seeking an Internal Communications & Copywriting Manager to play a pivotal role in connecting our people and amplifying our story. This role will be responsible for developing and delivering employee communications while supporting the firm’s editorial calendar and key content initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor with a knack for storytelling, able to translate complex strategies into clear, engaging messages for both internal and external audiences. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing high-frequency employee updates with longer-horizon thought leadership and marketing materials.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Internal Communications
- Lead strategy, drafting, and delivery of internal communications, including company-wide announcements, leadership messages, newsletters, and intranet updates.
- Partner with HR, leadership, and regional offices to ensure consistent, timely, and engaging communication across the firm.
- Write and develop an internal communications playbook and editorial standards.
- Oversee and maintain recurring internal communications, i.e., Big Wins.
- Leverage internal communications channels, including newsletters, intranet, leadership updates, and digital platforms
Copywriting & Editorial
- Manage and maintain the editorial calendar for firmwide communications and thought leadership.
- Partner with subject matter experts across service lines to write case studies, success stories, and client-facing narratives as needed.
- Work across the platform with marketing, business development, creative services and research on writing assignments.
- Ensure all written content aligns with the Savills brand voice and strategic priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5–8 years of internal communications experience, with proven success in an in-house or agency role within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a keen eye for brand voice.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CampaignBreeze, Hubspot and MailChimp.
- Strategic thinker who is proactive, collaborative, and highly organized.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in commercial real estate, brokerage, financial or professional service industries. Knowledge of email marketing platforms and the content development process.
