We are currently searching for a Finance Operations Analyst to join our team and play an important role in efficient processing, accurate reporting, and data driven analysis of the Company’s revenue and costs used for both broker reporting and management reporting purposes. This is an opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in finance who is comfortable in an operations-centric environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Analyze high volumes of transaction documents to ensure proper revenue recognition and timely processing in company systems.
- Verify executed agreements, calculations, and payment schedules, following up with operations or field management as needed.
- Assist in resolving issues or discrepancies related to deal transactions and transaction revisions.
- Reconcile projections against closed transactions and support journal entry processing as needed.
- Track broker coverage balances and oversee “POT” account pay-down and closing requests.
- Review co-broker history and assist with unprocessed transaction reports.
- Review all invoices, requisitions, vendor and co-broker expenses, and reports for proper GL coding and alignment with source documentation.
- Resolve Concur processing issues and assist with expense allowance administration and approvals.
- Assist with year-end audits and cut-off deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and documentation standards.
- Participate in ad hoc financial and operational projects to enhance system efficiency and data accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting) or the equivalent required.
- 5 to 7 years of finance and/or similar operational experience.
- Must have high level proficiency working with BI (or similar visualization tools) and Microsoft Excel—ability to design and troubleshoot financial models—and be comfortable working with databases.
- Must be detail oriented, capable of working independently and demonstrate excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
