Project Coordinator – Procurement & Vendor Support
Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to support a large client in facilities procurement and vendor management. This role will assist in gathering service requirements, collecting vendor information, and supporting procurement and operations teams. The Coordinator will help track vendor performance, maintain contract data, and support process improvements while learning about procurement and vendor operations.
The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and committed to delivering high-quality work. This role is perfect for someone starting their career in project coordination, operations, or procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with service and vendor processes: Work with internal teams and client stakeholders to understand service needs and help create organized processes for managing vendors.
- Support procurement tasks: Help collect vendor quotes and information, assist in identifying potential vendors, and ensure clear communication between vendors and the client’s procurement team.
- Maintain tracking and reporting systems: Help manage contract data, service requests, and vendor information in spreadsheets or internal systems to support reporting and dashboards.
- Monitor vendor performance: Collect information on service delivery, support the creation of vendor scorecards, and help track compliance and performance metrics.
- Support process improvements: Assist in evaluating vendor feedback and recommendations, helping the team implement small improvements.
- Use technology and reporting tools: Help maintain dashboards and reports, and learn to leverage tools to manage data efficiently.
Additional Expectations
- Work setting: This is an in-office role.
- Travel: Occasional campus or site visits may be required to support stakeholders and understand service needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, operations, supply chain, or related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Comfortable using Excel, reporting tools, or basic project management platforms.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
