• 3rd Shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) – 10% shift premium

Job Description:

Sark Wire is seeking a motivated Mechanical Maintenance Employee to join our team in Eastanollee, GA. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to become part of our maintenance team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Employee, you will assist with the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment to help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production operations. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and adjustment of wire drawing machines and other production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Assist with the installation, setup, modification, and relocation of manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair air compressor systems and compressed air equipment.
• Replace filters, valves, hoses, fittings, and other system components as needed.
• Support the maintenance of facility utility systems and building infrastructure.
• Complete minor building repairs, including doors, walls, windows, flooring, and partitions.
• Perform touch-up painting and other facility improvement projects.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from production and facility personnel.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance and safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Participate in emergency repairs, equipment recovery efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Safely operate maintenance tools, equipment, and power tools.
• Assist with additional maintenance-related projects as assigned.

Safety Responsibilities:

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and injuries immediately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience or equivalent demonstrated mechanical skills.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Experience using shop equipment such as drill presses, band saws, and portable power tools.
• Ability to read and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular standing, walking, hand use, communication, and visual attention while working in an industrial manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to safely perform maintenance activities and work around production equipment while following all safety requirements.

Pay: From $24.15 per hour
