Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of detailed financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
- Support the budgeting process by gathering data, analyzing variances, and contributing to strategic planning initiatives.
- Conduct account analysis to verify accuracy of financial data and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with teams across finance and accounting functions such as corporate accounting, cost accounting, and public accounting firms.
- Contribute to the development of financial software tools that streamline reporting processes and improve forecast accuracy.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; relevant internships are highly valued.
- Foundational knowledge of financial concepts including profit & loss management, cost accounting, and financial analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with financial software applications such as ERP systems or Excel-based models.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks like SOX compliance and GAAP standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for clear financial report writing and interpretation of complex data sets.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
