What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Software Engineer position at Sarfez Pharmaceuticals Inc?
Role Description:
As a senior software engineer, you will build the clinical AI platform almost from scratch. The engineer will build a high-precision RAG platform for clinical applications requiring:
- LLM outputs that are traceable and evidence-backed
- Retrieval from predefined, trusted data sources
- Attribution and hallucination mitigation
- Deployment in secure AWS environment
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years Python in production environments
- Built and deployed at least one LLM or RAG system end-to-end
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, or similar)
- Computer Science degree (BS, MS, or PhD)
Strongly preferred:
- Experience with AWS (ECS, RDS, IAM, VPC)
- Knowledge of hallucination mitigation techniques
- Worked with clinical, healthcare, or regulated data (not required)
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
