Support the trading technology environment of a global quantitative trading firm operating across major financial markets worldwide. The organization has spent decades building sophisticated trading infrastructure and technology used by trading teams across multiple asset classes and global exchanges.
This role sits within the team responsible for supporting a proprietary electronic trading platform used by several trading desks. You will work closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues, monitor system performance, and help ensure the platform runs reliably during live market conditions.
The role involves supporting trading systems, responding to technical issues from trading desks, assisting with onboarding new desks, and helping improve operational processes through troubleshooting and basic scripting or automation.
The team is looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and an interest in working closely with trading technology. Exposure to Linux environments, basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, and scripting languages like Python or Bash would be helpful, but not required. The most important qualities are strong troubleshooting ability, curiosity about how systems work, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $125,000, with an additional performance bonus and full benefits.
