Responsibilities

• Assist podiatrists during patient examinations and treatments with precision and care
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all supplies are stocked for daily operations
• Conduct patient assessments including vital signs, medical history collection, and basic foot examinations
• Participate in clinic operations by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations

Experience

• Prior experience working in a clinical setting such as a hospital, outpatient clinic, or nursing home environment is preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment techniques, and basic clinical procedures is highly valued
• Knowledge of wound care management, suturing techniques, and diabetic foot care is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and educate patients
• Previous exposure to podiatry or related specialties such as orthopedics or dermatology enhances your candidacy
