Santee Cooper is seeking a motivated and dependable Service Worker Intern to join our team for the summer. This position offers hands-on experience operating and maintaining various types of outdoor equipment and tools while working in a professional environment.

Hourly pay is based on the number of years participating in the internship program:
First Year: $10.00 per hour
Second Year: $10.50

What You’ll Do
The selected candidate will assist with grounds and general maintenance activities and must have the ability to safely operate equipment including:
- Riding lawnmowers
- Farm tractors
- Weed eaters
- Other hand and outdoor maintenance tools
What We’re Looking For
Qualified candidates must:
- Be a full-time high school or college student
- Be at least 16 years of age by June 2027
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Be able to safely operate the equipment and tools required for the position
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical and drug screening if selected
Hourly pay is based on the number of years participating in the internship program:
First Year: $10.00 per hour
Second Year: $10.50
Third Year: $11.00
