TS TECHNICIAN

Support the stable operation of the Santee Cooper Infrastructure within the company's two production data centers, disaster recovery data center and approximately 65 remote locations. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing all hardware, software, and cabling while ensuring minimal system downtime. Also, diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software problems.

Essential Job Tasks:

• Applies developed analytical skills/experience and uses standard operating procedures or guidelines to document, maintain, upgrade, install, and troubleshoot hardware.
• Makes recommendations for improvements.
• Applies developed analytical skills/experience and uses standard operating procedures or guidelines to document, maintain, upgrade, install, and test copper CAT5E and SM and MM Fiber cable.
• Performs on-call 24x7 support at local and remote locations throughout South Carolina.
• Maintains hardware and software inventory following standard operating procedures or guidelines.
• Develops scripts to automate processes.

Position Requirements:

TS Technician A

• High School Diploma/GED 5 years experience in the Information Technology field or Associates Degree 3 year experience in the Information Technology field.
• Must have intermediate knowledge of networking concepts.
• Must have intermediate knowledge of PC and networking hardware.
• Must have intermediate knowledge of PC and server software and operating systems.

Compensation Information:
$33.50 - $41.65 (min. - mid.)

TS Technician B

• High School Diploma/GED 2 years experience in the Information Technology field or Associates Degree 1 year experience in the Information Technology field.
• Must have intermediate knowledge of networking concepts.
• Must have intermediate knowledge of PC and networking hardware.
• Must have intermediate knowledge of PC and server software and operating systems.

Compensation Information:
$27.00 - $33.75 (min. - mid.)
