Anson Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Director of Nursing Services (DON) for our beautiful, newly renovated 95-bed skilled nursing facility. As the Director of Nursing (DON) at Anson Health & Rehabilitation, you will:

• Hold overall accountability for providing leadership, direction, and administration of day-to-day operations associated with direct patient care.
  
  
  

Responsibilities include:

• Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel including nurses, medication aides, certified nursing assistants, and nurse aides in training
• Guide staffing procedures
• Set objectives and goals for the nursing department
• Organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care procedures
• Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards
• Control budgets and monitor expenses within the department, including supplies and payroll
• Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations
• Report to and collaborate with the facility's Administrator
  
  
  

Qualifications of the Director of Nursing (DON):

• Maintain a current/unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina
• A passion for working with seniors.
• 1 years of nursing management in the long-term care industry with the experience to include hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
• Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel.
• Great communication and people skills, including keeping a good rapport with surrounding hospitals and organizations.
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Be aware of changing standards in nursing administration with strong knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare.
