We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing Services to lead and oversee all nursing operations at Sapulpa Nursing Center. Duties
- Lead and coordinate all nursing activities .
- Oversee and review care plans tailored to each resident’s individual needs while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as Medicare and HIPAA.
- Supervise nursing management staff and direct supervision of the nursing team to ensure optimal staffing levels and shift coverage.
- Oversee the management of electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical records to guarantee accurate documentation review and timely updates.
- Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations related to medical records, documentation review, HIPAA privacy rules, and Medicare/Medicaid requirements.
- Facilitate ongoing training programs on topics such as nurse management, EHR systems, medical terminology, and shift management to promote professional development.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans that promote resident safety, comfort, and well-being.
- Review clinical documentation regularly to maintain high standards of quality assurance in nursing services.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices in acute care settings or home care environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in nursing administration within Skilled Nursing Environments.
- Knowledge of Medicare / Medicaid regulations and HIPAA compliance pertaining to Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Demonstrates leadership skills with supervising experience in nurse management or healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for documentation management..
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff members and external agencies.
- Ability to manage multiple shifts efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards in patient care.
- Current RN license in good standing.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
