- Deliver high-quality care with a personal touch and encourage our residents to enjoy life to the fullest.
- Hold overall accountability for providing leadership, direction, and administration of day-to-day operations associated with direct patient care.
- Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel including nurses, medication aides, certified nursing assistants, and nurse aides in training
- Guide staffing procedures
- Set objectives and goals for the nursing department
- Organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care procedures
- Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards
- Control budgets and monitor expenses within the department, including supplies and payroll
- Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations
- Report to and collaborate with the facility's Administrator
- Maintain a current/unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina
- A passion for working with seniors.
- 1 years of nursing management in the long-term care industry with the experience to include hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
- Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel.
- Great communication and people skills, including keeping a good rapport with surrounding hospitals and organizations.
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Be aware of changing standards in nursing administration with strong knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare.
