Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback promptly and courteously
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly during busy hours, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred but will train the right person
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing and billing but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or food preparation is advantageous
