Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage POS systems such as Toast POS to process orders accurately and swiftly
• Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol serving regulations, including proper food handling and responsible serving practices
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and managing inventory
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures, balancing registers at shift end
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations during peak hours efficiently

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments preferred; hospitality or food service background highly valued but we will train.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is essential for efficient order processing but not required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures would be helpful
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals accurately
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations; certifications such as TIPS or equivalent are a plus
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts in fast-paced settings
• Basic understanding of brewing techniques or beverage crafting is advantageous
